Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2024
1. Agreement
By using the Digital Plumber website or engaging our IT services, you agree to these terms. If you are acting on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.
2. Services
We provide IT support, infrastructure review, managed backup and security, hosting, and related services as described on our website and in any quote or agreement we issue. Specific scope, deliverables and pricing will be set out in writing (email or formal agreement) before work begins.
3. Your obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information and reasonable access to systems when needed for us to deliver services
- Pay invoices in accordance with the payment terms we specify
- Use our services in compliance with applicable law and not for any illegal or harmful purpose
4. Fees and payment
Fees are as quoted or as set out in our pricing guide and any subsequent agreement. We may charge for time and materials where work falls outside a fixed quote. Payment terms are typically net 14 days unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to suspend services if payment is overdue.
5. Limitation of liability
We will perform our services with reasonable skill and care. Our liability for any claim arising from or in connection with our services is limited to the fees paid by you for the relevant service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, or for loss of data or profit, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
6. Confidentiality
We will keep your business and technical information confidential and use it only for the purpose of providing our services, except where disclosure is required by law or with your consent.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate ongoing services on reasonable notice as set out in any service agreement. For one-off work, termination will be subject to payment for work completed and any non-cancellable costs we have incurred.
8. General
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any part of these terms is held to be invalid, the remainder will continue in effect. We may update these terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
